INDUSTRIAL TRANSFER

 

of the BREATH ALCOHOL MEASUREMENT ACTIVITY
 

 

SERES environnement is pleased to announce the signature on November 30, 2009 of the transfer of its entire breath alcohol measurement activity to Alcohol Countermeasure Systems Corp (ACS), a Canadian company who specialize in the design and sale of instruments dedicated to the prevention of drink driving.

The industrial agreement covers the manufacturing, sales and after sales service rights for the breathtesters and breathanalysers using the infra red technology developed by SERES environnement for its range of breath alcohol  measurement equipment.

 

A turnover of approximately 1 million euros was achieved for this activity in 2009.

 

Within the frame of this transfer, it is SERES environnement strategy to focus on the development of its core activities, i.e. environmental control and analysis systems for air, gas, water and process fluids.
